Dr. Bethany Miteiko has a passion for helping patients maximize function of brain and body. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Miteiko grew up working closely with her father in his chiropractic practice where she learned radiology, Applied Kinesiology, and patient management.
While pursuing her undergraduate education Dr. Miteiko continued to work as a chiropractic assistant and also tutored students in mathematics, biology, chemistry, as well as anatomy and physiology. During this time she was given the undergraduate award for excellence in Chemistry. She graduated with honors from Thomas Edison State College where she had earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Pre-Med.
Her passion to help suffering humanity led Dr. Miteiko to work with underprivileged children in California and assist with disaster relief following the tsunami devastation in Japan. She also was part of a medical team which traveled to Haiti and the Dominican Republic where they tirelessly served locals and the United Nations soldiers.
She received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in June 2015. While in chiropractic school Dr. Miteiko served as vice-president of the Functional Neurology Club where she lectured on the brain, brainstem, and other sections of the central and peripheral nervous system. Additionally, she served as the student ambassador for Apex Energetics, and helped set up the first Functional Nutrition Club on the Life University Campus.
Dr. Miteiko initiated further study in the field of Chiropractic Neurology with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies where she began training with some of the top chiropractic neurologists in the world. She completed post-graduate advanced training in the treatment of traumatic brain injuries. She has the highest respect for the complexity and majesty of the human body and loves working with patients in intricate detail to enable them to live more vibrant lives.
