The founder of Georgia Chiropractic Neurology Center, Dr. Marc Ellis presents a rare combination of healing skills that reflect an inborn talent to restore the human body. His ongoing work in the field of Chiropractic Neurology, coupled with years of experience in neuromuscular therapy, enable him to restore tissues on multiple levels. Addressing the underlying connective tissue has yielded dramatic results in chronic cases.
Dr. Ellis has learned the intricate relationship between the brain and pain, learning disabilities and balance disorders. Many doctors locally, nationally and internationally have referred difficult patients for treatment with exceptional results. Dr. Ellis is known to be successful with people who have tried everything, yet are still suffering.
Dr Ellis is a graduate of Life Chiropractic University in Marietta, Georgia.
• He is a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology and a Diplomat of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
• Dr. Ellis is an Assistant Professor for the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies. (www.CarrickInstitute.org) and lectures nationally and internationally on Functional Neurology.
• Dr. Ellis is also a Certified Neuromuscular Therapist and an instructor at Gwinnett College where he teaches Clinical Pathology and Case Management to Massage Therapists.
• Dr. Ellis is the recipient of the Outstanding Faculty Award. His wealth of knowledge and humorous delivery make him a favorite among the students.
• He is also President of the Georgia Council of Neurology Assoc., has served as VP of the Georgia Chiropractic Assoc. and is a member of the American Chiropractic Assoc.
Dr. Bethany Miteiko has a passion for helping patients maximize function of brain and body. Originally from Southern California, Dr. Miteiko grew up working closely with her father in his chiropractic practice where she learned radiology, Applied Kinesiology, and patient management.
While pursuing her undergraduate education Dr. Miteiko continued to work as a chiropractic assistant and also tutored students in mathematics, biology, chemistry, as well as anatomy and physiology. During this time she was given the undergraduate award for excellence in Chemistry. She graduated with honors from Thomas Edison State College where she had earned a Bachelors of Science in Business Administration with a focus on Pre-Med.
Her passion to help suffering humanity led Dr. Miteiko to work with underprivileged children in California and assist with disaster relief following the tsunami devastation in Japan. She also was part of a medical team which traveled to Haiti and the Dominican Republic where they tirelessly served locals and the United Nations soldiers.
She received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Life University in June 2015. While in chiropractic school Dr. Miteiko served as vice-president of the Functional Neurology Club where she lectured on the brain, brainstem, and other sections of the central and peripheral nervous system. Additionally, she served as the student ambassador for Apex Energetics, and helped set up the first Functional Nutrition Club on the Life University Campus.
Dr. Miteiko initiated further study in the field of Chiropractic Neurology with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies where she began training with some of the top chiropractic neurologists in the world. She completed post-graduate advanced training in the treatment of traumatic brain injuries. She has the highest respect for the complexity and majesty of the human body and loves working with patients in intricate detail to enable them to live more vibrant lives.
Dr. Bauth board certified doctor of chiropractic in good standing with the Georgia Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He graduated from Palmer College in 97’ and has been serving suffering humanity for 16 years. For the past 5 years, Dr Bauth has been perusing his degree in Functional Neurology and is eligible to sit for his degree in Chiropractic Neurology.
Dr. Bauth prides himself in helping “tough “cases where no one else has been able to. Dr. Bauth is an expert in treating people with neurological as well as stress based health conditions. He has had excellent results with anxiety, chronic pain, headaches, digestive issues and vertigo. He has taught and treated patients internationally.
Dr. Bauth is passionate about teaching others the functional connections of the brain and body and how they manifest in health and optimal function. He has lectured extensively on such topics as;
